Who?

First-year, transfer, & readmitted students.

Why?

New undergraduate students will receive an T61 ThinkPad computer and a HP C4480 all-in-one color printer. Specific information about the hardware & software on the ThinkPad T61 is available by clicking here.

Readmitted students will receive a printer and the ThinkPad model associated with their class year.

When?

Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Specific times will be available in residence halls upon students' arrival. You can also click here to see the schedule.

This schedule is designed to help distribute the flow of students evenly during the day. If possible, please come at the designated time. If you cannot pick up the ThinkPad and printer at that time, however, please come at the next convenient time.

Where?

Information Systems Building, Room 262.

Be sure to have your Wake Forest ID card with you, as you will need this to enter the building. You may pick up your ID card at the Deacon OneCard/ID card station in Benson University Center.

How do I get there?

Take a Technology tram. Trams will be operating 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to and from Information Systems Building. Trams will stop about every 10 minutes near Palmer/Piccolo Halls, Bostwick Hall, Babcock Hall, and Benson Center, and on the parking lot side of Taylor/Efird.

Just look for the yellow & black "ThinkPad Tram Stop" signs and wait for the next tram.
