Through Information Systems, Wake Forest offers a variety of student technology programs that provide opportunities to develop and apply technology skills through relevant and challenging work experiences. These programs also enable students to apply technology skills beyond the classroom. These jobs both require and develop a range of skills varying from programming to basic computing, to administrative and customer service.

This program gives students practical, real-world experience by providing technology consulting and Web development services to businesses and non-profits in Winston-Salem and beyond.

RTAs provide technology support for students living on campus. RTAs live in the residence halls promoting easy help access for residents and their computing questions.

STARS brings together students and faculty in a joint effort to explore the use of technology in teaching and learning in the classroom, providing the tools and resources to enrich the education experience through media rich technology.

Looking for set hours, focused skill-development, and a chance to work alongside IT professionals? IS Student Staff work in areas such as Asset Management, Communications, Help Desk, Overseas Computer Support and, Research and Development.

“Live and learn” - this program is designed for students who either have a passion for learning computers or simply understand the value of learning technology in today’s world. TQ brings together students who desire to learn more and want to share their knowledge with other students in common living areas.
