Information Systems Department is pleased to support Wake Forest's nationally recognized technology initiative. Throughout the year a staff of over 100 acquires, distributes and supports computers, printers and software to students, faculty and staff. In addition to personal laptops on campus, the department is responsible for the installation and support of state of the art classroom multimedia technologies. It is our goal to continue to test and deploy new technologies to keep Wake Forest on the cutting edge of technology.
One of the best outcomes of this technology initiative is the Information Systems Student Programs (ISSP). ISSP consists of a multitude of employment and volunteer opportunities for the students. There are currently over 180 undergraduate positions for students to become involved in the Department. Students are provided the opportunity to develop student leadership through these programs. They are involved in the support and integration of the technology on campus, assisting the community in the adoption of technology and provide input to the Department on the direction technology will take in the future.
In all that we do, we strive to provide students with the best educational technology and support possible. Visit the links in the submenu for more information about technology services for Wake Forest students.
