Because Program Link involves changes that will affect operational activities in most University offices, training is an important component of the planning for this initiative. The training will take place in three phases:

• Learning about SCT Banner & other Program Link applications: The new applications installed as part of Program Link will operate differently than the applications currently in use by Wake Forest. This phase of training will provide an orientation to the new applications to help staff in understanding some of the more significant differences between the old and new applications.

• Configuration: This phase of training will focus on configuring software and revising business processes so that Wake Forest can make best use of the new applications for the University's strategic needs.

• Using Program Link: This training will focus on ensuring that faculty, staff, or students who use specific portions of Program Link's new software applications are prepared to take full advantage of these new applications.The Program Link Leadership Team and Steering Committee will work through existing University training and communications channels to develop and publicize these training opportunities.
