Jay Dominick named CIO

First ThinkPad distribution to all first-year students. Wake Forest becomes only the second school in the country to provide ThinkPad computers to students.

Wake Forest makes its first appearance on Yahoo! Internet Life’s list of "America's 100 Most Wired Colleges," ranked at 33rd

Construction begins on the new Information Systems Building

Freshmen and Sophomores receive individual printers

Wake Forest wins silver award in Beyond Computing magazine’s Partnership Awards for the alignment of information technology operations with the University’s primary missions

WIN, the Wake Information Network intranet, goes live
