Faculty & Staff Advising

Many Wake Forest Faculty and Staff are fully engaged as advisers for our student organizations and service trips. Every recognized and chartered Wake Forest student organization is required by the Student Life Committee to have a faculty or staff person serve as an adviser to the organization. In a similar advising role, all of the international service trips have a faculty or staff person work closely with the student trip leaders. In these various advising capacities, the faculty and staff person assists the student leaders with the overall direction and management of the respective group, serves as an advocate and resource person for the group, and functions as a liaison between the group and the University administration. This advising role provides an excellent opportunity for student leadership development and mentoring.

Handbook

The student handbook is updated annually by the Office of Student Development. It contains information about student activities and organizations, academic and student services, school traditions, rules, policies, regulations, and a personal day calendar. A new handbook is available at the beginning of every school year.

Stop by our office for a copy, or download the most recent Student Handbook can be found on the Wake Forest publications page.
