Staff Profile
Chris
Ina is in his sixth year as an assistant athletic trainer. He is
assigned to football and assists with the supervision of the men's
and women's golf teams. Ina works on a personal basis with the Demon
Deacon players in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of
injuries on a daily basis throughout the entire year.
A native of Westlake, Ohio, Ina holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from the University of Toledo. In 2002, he received his Master of
Arts degree from California State University, Fresno. While a part
of Fresno State athletics as a graduate assistant, he assisted the
sports medicine staff in providing coverage for the football squad.
He also developed and designed the website for the Athletic Training
Curriculum Program at Fresno State. In the summer, Chris organizes
Wake Forest's Gatorade summer camps program.
Ina was certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board
of Certification in 2000 and licensed by the State of North Carolina
in 2002. Chris and his wifeWhitney reside in Winston-Salem.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with family
and friends.
