Staff Profile
Stacie Barlow is the newest addition to the Wake Forest Sports Medicine Department. She will be working with our men's soccer and me's tennis team as well as providing physical therapy services to some of our non varsity athletes on campus.
A 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Stacie earned a Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education. Barlow earned her Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of Arizona in 1993. Stacie earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2001.
Before joining the staff, Stacie was the Head Athletic Trainer at Harvard University in Boston, Mass where she spent four years providing physical therapy and athletic training services to the Crimson athletes. While in Boston, she also taught a class at the Sargent College of Boston University and served as the Coordinator of Medical Services for the NCAA Final Four for Women's Basketball and Men's Lacrosse. She was employed at Colgate University and Vassar College as an assistant athletic trainer from 1993-1997. She served as the athletic trainer for the Wareham Gateman from 1988-1998 in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Stacie is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, APTA of Massachusetts, the National Athletic Trainers Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, and Athletic Trainers Association of Massachusetts and New York.
