Massachusetts State House

Massachusetts State House, designed by Charles Bulfinch, begun under governor Samuel Adams with Paul Revere on hand on 4 July 1795, finished in 1798. It was built on land given to the state by John Hancock's estate, on the back of Beacon Hill.
