Carole Stuart, M.D.Carole Stuart, M.D.

Dr. Stuart graduated from Reed College and the University of Oregon Medical School in Portland, Oregon. She received specialty training in pediatrics at Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y. Her professional experience includes working as a staff physical at Winston-Salem Health Care and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine Student Health Service. Since 1983 Dr. Stuart has provided patient care in the Student Health Service several afternoons a week and share "on-call" responsibilities with Dr. Price and Dr. Latham-Sadler. She is on the advisory board of Planned Parenthood of the Triad and works as a volunteer at the Battered Women's Shelter.

Dr. Stuart enjoys needlework, opera, reading, and gardening. She is married to Andrew Ettin, a WFU professor of English, and has two daughters.
