All Reynolda Campus students are required to have health insurance. Those taking 3 or more credit hours are eligible to enroll in this insurance plan. This includes undergraduate and graduate students, students in the Law, Business and Divinity Schools and all international students enrolled in these programs. Eligible dependents/domestic partners of enrolled students may participate in the plan on a voluntary basis.
Benefits have changed from the 2007-2008 academic year. It is the responsibility of the student or the student's parents/guardians to carefully review the information concerning this coverage before purchasing this insurance. Before you make a decision, compare coverage and costs with any other contemplated health insurance.

Highlights of the Plan are:
- Up to $250,000 Maximum Benefit Paid for covered Medical Expenses for each Injury or Sickness
- $50 Deductible per insured per policy year
- Preferred Provider Benefits paying 90% after deductible is satisfied (subject to specific benefit limitations, maximums and co-pays as described in the policy)
- Out of Network Benefits paying as much as 70% of Usual & Customary Charges after deductible has been satisfied (subject to specific benefit limitations, maximums and co-pays as described in the policy)
- Prescription drugs paid at 100% of Usual and Customary Charges after a copay of $15 per prescription for Tier 1, $25 per prescription for Tier 2, or $40 per prescription for Tier 3 at UnitedHealthcare Network Pharmacies or Student Health Services only (some limitations apply: $750 maximum Per Policy Year)
- Annual Premium of $1,374. Coverage can also be purchased per semester.
- The effective date of coverage is August 11, 2008 or the date correct premium is received by the Company, whichever is later.
- Dependent coverage available
- Online Enrollment available with payment options by credit card or electronic check
- Online Services where the insured can view coverage, print an ID Card, and check claim status 24 hours a day
