Scheduling an Appointment for Gynecological Exams
and/or Contraceptive Prescriptions
1. If you have never been sexually active* and are under 21 years of age
Call the Student Health Service (758-5218, option "0") and tell the receptionist that you need to schedule a 30 minute appointment with the Women's Clinic.
2. If you became sexually active* less than 3 years ago and are under 21 years of age
Call the Student Health Service (758-5218, option "0") and tell the receptionist that you need to schedule a 30 minute appointment with the Women's Clinic.
3. If you are 21 years of age or have been sexually active* for more than 3 years
Call the Student Health Service (758-5218, option "0") and tell the receptionist that you need to schedule a 60 minute appointment with the Women's Clinic.
When you scehdule this appointment be sure to schedule at a time when you are not on your menstrual period.
* Sexual activity is defined as any event involving genital-genital contact. Penetration and ejaculation are not required to be at risk for gynecological problems.
