LOI Deadline February 2nd - ePilot Electronic Submission Form
The primary focus of this award is interdisciplinary research to develop novel and creative approaches to research ideas from both Wake Forest University (WFU) and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (WFBMC) faculty. This award is intended to stimulate the formation of new teams. Thus, priority will be given to newly formed collaborations between investigators from each campus. Preliminary/pilot data are not required to be competitive for this funding mechanism.
Request for Applications
WFU and the WFBMC Translational Science Institute (TSI) are seeking applications for novel and innovative interdisciplinary research projects that include investigators from each campus. Successful pilot projects will receive up to $40,000 total, to be spent within a one-year project period. Proposals from all research topics will be accepted. If you are an interested WFU or WFBMC faculty member and do not have a collaborator from the other institution, please contact Rachel Woodside, TSI Operations Manager, (firstname.lastname@example.org) for assistance in finding a potential collaborative investigator.
Letter of Intent (LOI)
Interested investigators are encouraged to submit a 2-page LOI that will undergo initial review by WFU and TSI leadership. Following the review, selected investigators will be invited to submit a complete application in response to the RFA. Details and a timeline are provided below.
