The Wake Forest Medieval Studies Minor emerged from the activities and commitment of the Medieval Studies Group, which has been in place for approximately ten years.

This group is organized by members of the English Department,

Professors Gale Sigal and Gillian Overing,
who are also the coordinators of the minor in Medieval Studies.

The interdisciplinary minor in Medieval Studies includes two Romance Languages courses:

• French 370. Seminar in French Studies. (3h)
• Spanish 331. Medieval Spain: A Cultural and Literary Perspective. (3h)
