Daniela Orlandi

Lecturer

Department of Romance Languages

Daniela Orlandi earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Italian literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She also holds a Laurea with summa cum laude honors from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano in Italy.  She has amassed a wealth of teaching experience through posts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dominican University, Elon University, and Wake Forest University.  Daniela has published seven referred articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as two entries in The Encyclopedia of Italian Literary Studies (Routledge 2006).  She expects her book, L’arte di Alda Merini, to be completed in December 2009.
