Degree Evaluation (CAPP) Information

CAPP is an unofficial online auditing system that measures a student's progress towards graduation. It should be used as an advising tool to help your academic advisor suggest and approve courses of instruction during or after a face to face advising session.

VIEWING YOUR DEGREE EVALUATION ON WIN

Log into WIN
Select Virtual Campus
Under the heading "YOUR STUDENT RECORDS" select Degree Evaluation
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and Select Generate New Evaluation
Click Program
Select Term
Click Generate Request
Select Detail Requirements
Click Submit

Special Note: The CAPP evaluation includes ALL courses (in-progress and pre-registered) in the Total Required "Used" column and in the appropriate areas (major, minor, divisional, elective, etc).

*Once you have reviewed your degree evaluation, please be sure to check the Additional Information block. The Additional Information block can be accessed by using the BACK function.

REPEATED COURSES

Students repeating a Wake Forest course for which he or she has received a grade of C- or below and earned hours may only count the course ONE time for hours toward graduation. CAPP will include the hours for both courses until the semester grading process is complete. After grades are posted, the hours for the repeated course will be removed and the highest grade will be used in the GPA.

COURSE SUBSTITUTIONS

As stated in the WFU bulletin, "no course requirements may be set aside or replaced by substitutes except through regular procedures already established by the faculty, or through a specific vote of the faculty in regular session".

Certain courses in interdisciplinary honors may be substituted with the approval of the Honors Coordinator and the related department.

CORRECTIONS/ADJUSTMENTS

For corrections or adjustments to your audit, please contact Jean Kimmer by email kimmer@wfu.edu.
