The Department of Psychology at Wake
Forest University:
- stresses both the commitment to classroom teaching characteristic
of the liberal arts college and the commitment to scholarship
characteristic of the research university
- currently has 17 full-time and 7 part-time faculty members
whose areas of expertise span the full range of psychological
science
- offers a rigorous undergraduate curriculum in psychology
that emphasizes the scientific foundations of psychology,
as well as a research-oriented master’s program designed
specifically to prepare students for doctoral work
- is housed in Greene Hall--a new, state-of-the-art facility
that includes classrooms, research labs, offices, lounges,
and study areas; with additional animal research facilities
located in Winston Hall.
