Policy For Public Gatherings

Wake Forest University officials have a procedure for demonstrations. Anyone wishing to publicly display their views on the Wake Forest campus must apply for a public gathering permit through the University Police Department. All individuals permitted to demonstrate on campus will have a specific area designated for this purpose.

Application for the permit may be obtained by calling the University Police at 336-758-6066, by writing the Wake Forest University Police Department, P.O. Box 7686, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27109 or click here to access the form.

All applications must be completed and returned to the Wake Forest University Police. Applicants will be notified if their application has been approved. Demonstrators will receive information prior to arrival on campus.
