ABSTRACT

I will give an introduction to the CNA Corporation, and an overview of what one does as a Research Analyst. I will discuss how my training as a physicist prepared me for this type of work. I will also things that in hindsight I would have preferred to learn in school, and things you can't train for until you're on the job. I will also touch on my experiences here, particular projects I have worked on, musings on Washington D.C. culture, and other peculiarities of having a "button-down" or "9-5" job.
