Description: |
The number of electrons released per second (the current)
depends on the light intensity and frequency (color). These can be varied
to find what determines the maximum kinetic energy of the electrons.

Use the gooseneck camera to show the current amplifier
meter to the class. The light need to have the hood on it in order to
cut the intensity of the light a bit. Plug the photoelectrometer into
a volmeter using the 'meter' connections. Also plug it into the 0-5 VDC
jacks of the Demo Power Supply using the 'battery' connections. You might
have to switch the leads on the battery hookup to get the desired effect.
