| 1. Hook your ThinkPad up and turn it on using the computer
cable and power cords found in the plastic drawer under the overhead projector.

| 2. Begin by pressing the Sart button on the Start Screen as shown right.
(If the screen is not on, activate it by gently touching it anywhere on
the screen.) |

| 3. The main menu should now come up. |
|
|
4. Turn the projector on by doing the following:
| 4a. Press the Video Projector Button found
at the top of the Main Menu. |
 |
| 4b. The Projector Menu should now be seen. |
 |
| 4c. Press the ON button found at the upper
left. The On button will turn blue and the Off button
will turn white. |
 |
| 4d. Exit the Projector Menu by pressing the
Exit Bar. |
 |

| 5. Watch the projector lens for a blue glow. This tells
you that the projector has warmed up and is ready to be used. |
| 6. Select your Source for the projector (in this case, the Computer)
from the choices on the left of the Main Menu. |
|
| 7. Your Main Menu area should now have an image of the ThinkPad
on it. |
|
8. At this point, you should have your computer image on the large
screen. If you don't, press <Fn+F7> on your ThinkPad. This toggles
the display through three configurations; 1)on your computer only,
2) on the screen only and 3) on both.
|
9. When you are finished, turn the projector
off by doing the following:
| 9a. Press the Video Projector Button found
at the top of the Main Menu. |

| 9b. Press the Projector Off button found
in the upper right of the Projector Menu. |
 |
| 9d. Exit the Projector Menu by pressing the
Exit Bar. |
 |
|
| 10. Exit the Main Menu by pressing the Exit Button in
the lower left corner. |
|
| 11. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off Button on
the Start Screen. |
 |
| 12. Turn off your ThinkPad and return the cables to the
plastic drawer.
