Welcome to the Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts Program!

The Wake Forest University Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts seeks to create and sustain an environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and action at Wake Forest. By entrepreneurship we mean the process through which individuals and groups take advantage of their knowledge and resources to identify and pursue opportunities, initiate change and create sustainable value in their lives and the lives of others.

Profile of a Student Entrepreneur

In their sophomore year, now Fifth-year Institute Fellows Bill Brown and Jessie Vogel started a company that manufactures and sells an original line of patented stuffed robots and robot paraphernalia. The two set up shop in the sculpture studio in Scales Fine Arts Center, purchasing fabric and supplies from local stores. Their site has already been linked on gizmodo.com--a popular online review site of cutting-edge consumer gadgets and electronics--and they have been overwhelmed by the volume of orders received.
