The Nicaragua Nexus represents Wake Forest University’s strategic initiatives to globalize curriculum for all students—undergraduate, graduate, and professional—and its emphasis on interdisciplinary educational experiences.

The Nexus is led by an inter-disciplinary team of faculty and administrators from throughout Wake Forest University who meet monthly to design and evaluate continued programming efforts in Nicaragua. Examples of this collaborative endeavor are reflected in the following academic units:

Throughout the process of building and conceptualizing programs in Nicaragua, Wake Forest has intentionally sought partnership with organizations and individuals in the country who can provide assistance, counsel, and insight into the best method of achieving program goals.
