Wake Forest University announces retiring faculty

Wake Forest University announces eight faculty members who retired during the 2009-2010 academic year. The retiring faculty are:

• J. Gaylord May, professor of mathematics
• Patricia J. Roberts, professor, School of Law
• Thomas E. Roberts, professor, School of Law
• Larry E. West, professor of German

Wake Forest University School of Medicine:

• Dr. Michael R. Adams, D.V.M., professor of pathology
• Dr. Lewis H. Nelson III, M.D., associate dean for medical student admissions
• Dr. James F. Toole, M.D., professor of neurology
• Dr. Lawrence X. Webb, M.D., professor of surgical sciences—orthopedics
