Wake Forest University student robbed on campus

A Wake Forest University student was robbed by three unidentified men on campus between Martin Residence Hall and Student Apartments at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6.

Wake Forest University Police are investigating the robbery.

The student reported that one of the three men confronted him, struck him with his fists several times and knocked him to the ground.  The robbers took the student’s wallet, cell phone and keys.   The student did not report seeing a weapon.

After the robbers fled, the student immediately went to his residence hall room, where a suite mate helped him call 911 to report the incident.

The student was treated at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and released.

The student described the assailants as black males.  The one who struck him was approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed between 220 and 240 pounds.  The other two suspects were approximately 6 feet tall and weighed approximately 170 to 180 pounds.
