University Senate committee seeking honorary degree nominations

A University Senate committee at Wake Forest University has issued a call for nominations for honorary degrees.

The Senior University Appointments Committee is seeking nominations from all members of the Wake Forest community – trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents and volunteer board members.

Honorary doctorate degree nominations for commencement 2009 and 2010 are being accepted  through November 19, 2008.  Submissions after the deadline will automatically go into the pool for 2010.

Most often, honorary doctorates are awarded during commencement exercises each May.
