Local resident named to Phi Beta Kappa at Wake Forest University
April 30, 2008
Seventy-five Wake Forest University students, 58 seniors and 17 juniors, were initiated into the Phi Beta Kappa chapter at Wake Forest April 16. Students are elected to membership based on academic record and good character.
Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization. Wake Forest’s chapter was chartered in 1941.
