April 28, 2008
UNC-TV will broadcast a special “North Carolina Now” program featuring an interview with panelists from Wake Forest University’s recent event titled “College of the Overwhelmed: Facing Facts, Finding Solutions” at 7:30 p.m. May 9. The panel discussion will be the entire broadcast of “North Carolina Now.”
The program will feature Samuel T. Gladding, chair and professor of counseling at Wake Forest; Christopher Flynn, director of the Thomas E. Cook Counseling Center at Virginia Tech; and Richard Kadison, chief of Mental Health Services at Harvard University.
“College of the Overwhelmed” was held in April as part of the university’s Voices of Our Time series. At a later date, UNC-TV also plans to air a one-hour edited version of the keynote address and panel discussion on their digital channel, UNC-NC. For broadcast times, visit www.unc-tv.org.
