Wake Forest event to showcase graduate student research

To showcase the work of its graduate students, Wake Forest University will host the eighth annual Graduate Student Research Day March 5.
More than 70 students are expected to present posters at the event from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Bridger Field House.
In conjunction with the research presentations, the university will present a Hot Topics Community Forum featuring Dr. Anthony Atala, W. H. Boyce Professor and Director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. Atala and his graduate students will discuss “Tissue Engineering and Stem Cells: Current Concepts and Future Trends” at 4:30 p.m.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best student posters.
The Research Day and the Hot Topics Community Forum are free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the parking lot in front of Bridger Field House.
