Student vaccination clinics planned in response to flu cases

Wake Forest University will hold influenza (flu) vaccination clinics for its students Jan. 25-27.
The vaccination clinics were scheduled because of the high number of flu cases on the Reynolda Campus. Within the past week, more than 200 students have been treated for flu at the Wake Forest Student Health Service.
The vaccination clinics will be held in Reynolds Gymnasium, Room 201, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 25, and from 1 to 6 p.m. Jan. 26 and 27. The clinic is open to undergraduate, graduate and professional students on the Reynolda Campus.
The fee for the vaccine is $27. At the clinic, students may pay by credit card, check, cash or Deacon Dollars.
Students, faculty and staff received an e-mail from the university Jan. 22 with links to prevention and treatment information found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Web site and students received another e-mail communication Jan. 24 regarding the clinics.
