Wake Forest University counseling program gets regional recognition

Wake Forest University’s Department of Counseling was recently named the "Outstanding Masters Counselor Education Program for 2007” by the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (SACES) at the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
Wake Forest’s counselor education program was founded in 1968 and became the counseling department in 2003. In 1999, the university was recognized by ACES as having the “Outstanding Counseling Program” in the nation.
The program offers a two-year Master of Arts degree in Counseling.
