Advisory: David Brooks to give commencement address at Wake Forest University May 21

David Brooks, New York Times columnist and a regular commentator on “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” and National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered,” will deliver Wake Forest University’s commencement address and receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree May 21.
Brooks will address more than 1,400 Wake Forest graduates during the 9 a.m. outdoor ceremony on Hearn Plaza (the Quad). The ceremony is not open to the public.
Media are invited to cover Brooks’ address. Passes and reserved seating will be available for members of the media. Beta video footage and downloadable audio will be available following the commencement ceremony. B-roll of graduates will also be available.
