Jennifer Lanier to perform one-woman show at Wake Forest

Actress and Greensboro native Jennifer Lanier will perform her original, one-woman show at Wake Forest University at 7 p.m. March 28 in Scales Fine Arts Center, Room 102.  The show is free and open to the public.

Titled “None of the Above,” the show is intended as a humorous presentation focused on sensitive issues, including gender and racial identity, family dynamics and coming-of-age crises.

Lanier received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the North Carolina School of the Arts.  She continues to work with the school as a guest artist and coach.

Lanier’s show is sponsored by the Gay Straight Student Alliance (GSSA), in collaboration with the American ethnic studies program, the Pro Humanitate Center, the Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts, the women’s and gender studies program, the Women’s Initiative for Support and Empowerment (WISE), the Pro Humanitate Center, and the art and theatre departments.
