George W. Mikes of Marsh Inc. and Scott Wilkomm of Still Water Risk Capital were executives-in-residence in February at Wake Forest University’s Calloway School of Business.
Mikes is vice chairman and chief operating officer of Marsh Global Risk Management and Wilkomm is the former president and chief executive officer of Scottish Re Group.
They participated in classroom discussions as part of the Calloway School’s enterprise risk management program.
"Executives-in-residence of this caliber give our students a unique opportunity to learn from the rich experiences of these leaders in the field of risk management,” said Jon Duchac, Merrill Lynch Associate Professor of Accounting and director of the enterprise risk management program. “In addition, George and Scott’s intellectual contributions to the Calloway School faculty have laid the groundwork for research into cutting edge research by Calloway School faculty.”
Mikes and Wilkomm also advised students about career options.
The Calloway School launched the enterprise risk management program in 1997.
