Advisory: Media invited to cover Edwards appearance at Wake Forest
January 29, 2007
The media is invited to cover John Edwards’ appearance at Wake Forest University today, Jan. 29. Edwards will be on campus to participate in the School of Law’s “Conversation With” series.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held at 4 p.m. in Wait Chapel. Public parking will be provided on Davis Field across from Davis Residence Hall.
The format calls for moderator Miles Foy of the law school to pose a number of questions to Edwards. The two will sit at the front of the chapel, facing the audience. The “Conversation With” series has brought several national figures in the legal profession to Wake Forest in recent years.
Members of the media are invited to sit in the front row of the chapel, far right side. Television cameras should be set up inside the chapel on the stairs and landing on the far right side. Photographers are asked not to shoot from roving positions close to the stage after the first three minutes. TV and radio journalists are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the program to connect to the chapel’s sound system.
The School of Law has not received any word from Edwards regarding his availability to speak with the news media after the event.
