Advisory: Media invited to ‘Conversation’ with Justice Sandra Day O’Connor

Wake Forest University will hold “A Conversation with Sandra Day O’Connor” featuring retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. in Wait Chapel. Members of the media are invited to attend. The event is open to members of the Wake Forest community, the law community and invited guests.
The program will follow an interview format with Suzanne Reynolds, professor of law, asking O’Connor questions about her life as a legal professional.
O’Connor’s visit, sponsored by the Wake Forest School of Law, is one of the university’s new “Voices of Our Time” series, which brings renowned experts to campus to explore timely issues. The event will also serve as the university’s Constitution Day observance.
Media seating is available in the front row on the right side of Wait Chapel. Cameras may set up in the right stairway. Media needing line-level audio should arrive at Wait Chapel no later than 3:30 p.m. Photographers may move to the front of the hall for the first three minutes of the presentation. No flash photography is permitted. O’Connor will not be available for interviews.
Parking is available in Lot A beside Wait Chapel or in Lot Q behind the chapel.
