Welcome to the home pages of the Nanotechnology Review. The Review is a publication of the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials and reports on the activities within the Nanosciences and Nanotechnology communities locally and globally.

The aim of the Nanotechnology Review is to report current research developments in nanotechnology and the nanosciences. It seeks to provide the general public with a vision of how nanotechnology efforts are evolving. Because the Review is a publication of the WFU research community through the Nanotech Center, research events at WFU and WFU Health Sciences are highlighted as well. This is intended to act as a touchstone for the growing WFU community of reseachers and alumni/alumnae at large as well as to inform the greater NC community of events on the WFU campuses.

The Editorial Board of the Nanotechnology Review includes:

Dr. David Carroll (General Editor)

The Internal Advisory Board of the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials

Editorial Policy

The Nanotechnology Review accepts the submission of original writing for publication. Publication of original articles is subject to peer review as well as editorial review. Upon publication articles and original images become the property of the Nanotechnology Review.

The Review is meant to provide an overview of recent advances in nanosciences and nanotechnology. Communications should be provided in english at a level for the nonspecialist but technically educated. There are two formats accepted:

Research Briefs (1-2 pages):

Research Briefs are comments on recently published research results. Typically this involves comments on a single article or small group of articles within the same subject area. Usually, but not necessarily, these are prepared by the original authors of the research being reported. If images or data sets are being presented, originals are prefered or if reprints, premission from the original publisher must be sought by the authors.

The format template is found here.

Letters (typically less than 1 page):

Letters are comments on topics of interest to the nanotechnology and nanosciences community. Comments on recent events or findings, recently published articles, books or talks are acceptable.

All submissions are subject to peer review and all are reviewed. Submissions can be made by web to: (nanotech@wfu.edu). Finally approval for publication is at the descrection of the editors of the journal.
