BM and Performer’s Certificate (Eastman). Former member of New Orleans Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic and Rochester Woodwind Quintet, Principal flute of Winston-Salem Piedmont Triad Symphony. In summer plays piccolo with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra and teaches at the Chautauqua Music School. Performer of numerous premieres of works composed especially for her. Founding member of Opus 5, Wake Forest University and faculty woodwind quintet.  Founder and director of the Silver Wind Flute Quartet. Teaches flute and woodwind chamber music, conducts flute choir; director of the Christopher Giles and Lucille S. Harris Competitions in Musical Performance.
