BA (Yale), M M (Wisconsin-Madison), DMA (Illinois). Conducting study with Robert Fountain, Donald Neuen, and Dale Warland. Holds the Jacques-Dalcroze Certificate in eurhythmics, solfege, and piano improvisation from the Ithaca College Dalcroze Institute. Member of the American Choral Directors Association, MENC: The National Association for Music Education, the National Collegiate Choral Organization, former district chair and executive committee member, Wisconsin Choral Directors Association, and former chair of the college/university Repertoire & Standards Committee for North Carolina ACDA. Director of Concert Choir on the first international tour of a Wake Forest Music Department ensemble, Austria, May 2007. Music Director and Conductor of the Wake Forest Chorale. Director of Concert Choir on "Music of Jeffrey Van", Centaur Records CRC 2687, April 2004. Published "Planning the Perfect Choral Rehearsal" in Music Educators Journal, November 2001. Formerly head of choral activities at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Oklahoma City Community College. Conducts the concert choir and collegium vocal ensemble and teaches introduction to western music and conducting.
