Mary Mendenhall, soprano, graduated in 1997 from Wake Forest University, where she studied voice with Teresa Radomski and was actively involved in choirs, various solo performances, and musical theater productions.  Since her graduation, Ms. Mendenhall has performed numerous solo recitals; for local churches, as well as Wake Forest University and UNC-Chapel Hill.  She has performed in various regional musical theater productions in North Carolina and Alabama.  Ms. Mendenhall sang the role of Costanza in the 2005 Wake Forest University world premiere of L’isola disabitata, a salon opera by Manuel del Pópulo Garcia (1775-1832).  She has continued to perform as a soloist with local ensembles; including the Wilkes Chamber Singers, Wake Forest Concert Choir, Salisbury-Rowan Choral Society, Piedmont Chamber Singers, and Carolina Baroque.  Ms. Mendenhall resides in Winston-Salem and works for the public school system.  She teaches theatrical singing as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University.
