Department of Music : Masterclasses & Lectures

The Department of Music as well as Wake Forest University’s Secrest Artist Series presents internationally acclaimed performers in Brendle Recital Hall and Wait Chapel.

Music students have participated in master classes with opera stars Denyce Graves, Nathan Gunn and Ben Heppner; violinists Midori and Arnold Steinhardt; flutist Leone Buyse; percussionist Evelyn Glennie; clarinetist David Krakauer; trumpeter Allison Balsom; the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet; guitarist Carlos Perez; vocalist Meredith Monk; and Anonymous 4.
