Five students attend Asian American, Pacific Islander (AAPI) Youth Leadership Briefing
An invitation from the White House sent to the Office of Multicultural Affairs invited five Wake Forest students to join nearly 200 delegates from colleges, universities and high schools across the country for the first Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Youth Leadership Briefing. Assistant director Jonathan Cox had the opportunity to present at this year's National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE), held in San Francisco, California. He presented on the topic, "Engaging Black Men in Critical Conversations about Masculinity and Manhood," along with a co-presenter Wilmon A. Christian, III. Included in this presentation was an overview of the new program Jonathan started as part of OMA's programming, the M4 Initiative. Check on the M4 page to get more information!
