Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students
Minority Association of Pre-medical Students (MAPS) is a pipeline organizationi sponsored by Student National Medical Association (SNMA) that aims to provide academic, professional, and social support for current underrepresented minority pre-medical students. MAPS serves as a resource for minority students interested in health care by mentoring, sponsoring educational seminars, and organizing volunteer opportunities. Ultimately, the purpose of MAPS is to increase the number of underrepresented minority physicians entering the workforce and address health care care disparties through community outreach and education programs. The organization is open to all who are interested.
