Thematic Summer Camps for Grades 1-5

“Exploring Papua New Guinea”

Join us as we journey to the exotic island nation of Papua New Guinea. With over 1000 ethnic groups, our focus will not be on just one people. We will explore and discover customs and festivals from many different areas. Through art, stories, games, and other activities we will learn how many Papua New Guinea people combine traditional culture with contemporary influences.

WHEN: Three 1 week sessions, June 23-27, July 7-11, or July 14-18
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University
WHO: Children from grade 1 through grade 5 (ages 6-11).
FEE: $100.00 for the community, $85.00 for MOA Friends.
