Thematic Summer Camps for Grades 1-5

“Archaeology: Can You Dig It?”

Come and discover the exciting worlds of land and underwater archaeology! Campers will learn the scientific technologies and methods archaeologists from around the world use to uncover the past. With the help of a real-life archaeologist, campers will have the opportunity to create and excavate (dig) an archaeological site. Through games, art, stories, and other fun activities campers will learn what hard work it takes to be an archaeologist.

WHEN: Three 1 week sessions, July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University
WHO: Children from grade 1 through grade 5 (ages 6-11).
FEE: $100.00 for the week, $85.00 for MOA Friends.
