Curriculum-Based School Programs

Schoolchildren examine an exhibit as they complete a worksheet.

Please see our new Education Programs Guide for a printable description of all our educational programs!

The Museum of Anthropology offers a variety of curriculum-based programs for grades K though 12. All programs have been thoroughly researched and include artifacts and other visuals to reinforce the grade-appropriate content. The North Carolina Standard Course of Study Competency Goals and Objectives covered in the programs can be found on this website and will be included in the program confirmation letters sent four to six weeks prior to the scheduled visit.

The Museum education staff is available for consultation to teachers, students, and parents through a scheduled appointment. Our staff is small and we would appreciate a call in advance to request an appointment for a meeting.

Groups with disabilities or groups including disabled students are encouraged to schedule programs and visit the Museum.

Please explore the following links for more information about our programs.
