"Drinking from the Same Well: Jewish and Muslim Co-existence in Morocco"

Amzrou village friends - romer Jewish neighbors pictured in book in Draa, edge of Sahara.Rose-Lynn Fisher of Los Angeles, a professional photographer whose work has been shown in ten solo exhibitions and more than 25 group exhibits since 1983, has created an exhibit of 25 black-and-white photos of people in Morocco. King Mohammed VI of Morocco praised her work as capturing the beauty and spirit of his land. Many of the photos show interactions between Muslims and Jews in a country that has a long history of tolerance and amicable relations between members of different religions. The exhibit will also include artifacts from Morocco and a computer with many other photographs of Moroccans by Fisher. Legacy of Memories in Draa. The exhibit will open November 7, 2003 and will run through February 14, 2004.
