On Second Sundays 2:30 p.m.—4:00 p.m.
A family-oriented program for elementary school-aged children and accompanying adults to examine a different culture and art form each session.
September 14: Ancient Codices
Learn how the ancient Aztec, Maya, and Mixtec created books (codices) and make an example to take home.
October 12: African Adinkra
Learn about the symbols on adinkra cloth and design your own T-shirt using
adinkra stamps.
November 9: Aboriginal Dot Painting
Learn about the Aboriginal people of Australia and the tradition of dot painting, then create a work to take home.
Cost: $7.00 per child per class ($5.00 for MOA Friends).
Reservations are required and may be made up to the Friday before each class.
