Changing your Banner Password

1. Banner passwords must meet several requirement:

a. The password must be changed every 90 days.

b. The password must be 6 characters or more in length.

c. The password must contain at least one letter and one number.

d. A password cannot be reused within 30 days.

e. A password cannot be reused within the last 6 changes.

f. The password must differ from the last password by at least 3 characters.

2. Changing your Banner password can be done in Banner INB by using form GUAPSWD.

3. This form can be accessed either by typing GUAPSWD directly into the Go To field at the top of the Banner main menu page (GUAGMNU) and pressing enter:

4. The GUAPSWD form will display. Enter your current Oracle password and your new password in the fields provided (Note: The database field should remain blank). When complete click the save icon at the bottom of the form:
