David Faber.  Sixth edition, Publisher:  Thomson Wadsworth Publishing

(The current Publisher’s Adoption Report lists 45 colleges and universities that have adopted the book into their courses for the academic year 2002-03 and onward).

I wrote a catalog essay on the prints of Mona Wu, 2003 Winston-Salem Artist of the Year, focusing on Mona’s involvement with intaglio (etchings), relief (woodcuts) prints, and stone lithography.

I will perform a workshop and lecture demonstration in multiple-plate color intaglio printing in June for the community fund-raiser for blood marrow cancer (the campus blood drive took place this past April).  The group in attendance will be those who participated in the fund-raiser:  faculty members as well as others from the campus and greater Winston-Salem communities.

I will perform a lecture demonstration in  intaglio printmaking (following the one above), exclusively for faculty members living in the campus community.  This will be a repeat of a studio session in printmaking I did several years ago.
