Defined Contribution Retirement Plan

Eligibility

  • Full-time faculty and staff eligible on the first day of the month following 2 years of employment
  • Part-time, temporary or irregular employees that work more than 1000 hours during each of two consecutive 12-month periods
  • New employees who were employed full-time with any non-profit research or educational organization for at least two years immediately prior to employment at WFU are immediately eligible
  • Must have attained age 21

Summary of Benefits

  • Completion of 2 years of service: WFU contributes 5% of regular salary
  • Completion of 5 years of service: WFU contributes 7.5% of regular salary
  • Completion of 10 years of service: WFU contributes 10% of regular salary
